1st Ritrato nin Kabikolan Photography Contest (for college)
1.Participants may come from any college, course, and year level of college institutions in Naga and Iriga City and the towns of Camarines Sur.
2.One must pre-register (starting September 15 to October 17, 2008) through email with the following format:

Registrants must ALSO attach ORIGINAL photos of his/her works (at least 2). Contest photos are
encouraged. Email with deficiencies will NOT be processed and registered.
3.Only the first three (3) registrants from each college/university can join the competition to encourage diversity. Participants must be available on the day and time of the event.
4.Participants will be e-mailed or sent an SMS by the organizers to accept their registration.
5.Registration fee is PhP 50.00 per participant and must be paid on the first day of the Acadfest.
6.During the event, the participants will go to a specific place and will take photos using their own digital camera. A digital camera will also be provided by the organizers but bringing own cameras will be the participants’ prerogative and benefit.
7.The theme of the photos will be divulged during the event.
8.The contestants will then select his/her three best pictures for the organizers to print.
9.All photos will be printed in black and white.
10.The photos will be displayed at the venue on the afternoon after the event.
11.The Board of Judges for this event will be composed of three (3) individuals coming from different fields of specialization.
ALL DECISIONS OF THE BOARD OF JUDGES ARE FINAL AND IRREVOCABLE. It is not subject to appeal.
12.The judges will determine the winners based on the following criteria:
Content/subject.…………………………… .40%

Originality……………………………………...10%
Contrast and overall technicals……………..10%
Composition…………………………….……..25%
Total 100%
13.The winners will receive the following prizes:
Champion PhP 1,000 + medal + certificate of recognition

1st Maorag na Jovenes Advertisement Contest (for college)

1.Participants may come from any college, course, and year level of college institutions in Naga and Iriga City and the towns of Camarines Sur.
2.Teams must pre-register (starting September 15 to October 17, 2008) through email with the following format:

3.Only the first two (3) team registrants from each school can join the competition to encourage diversity. A team may be composed of 3-5 members.
4.Registration fee is PhP 150.00 per team and must be paid on the first day of the Acadfest.
5.The teams must make an awareness advertisement that will focus on encouraging the youth to stay and finish school. The ads must not be longer than 30 seconds.
6.The people in the ads (if any) may not necessarily be the team members.
7.Any video editing program may be used in editing the advertisements.
8.All videos must be submitted during the first day of the Acadfest (October 23, 2008) not later than 12 noon.
9.Entries must be in video format and must be burned to a CD or DVD.
10.The videos will be shown on the third day of the Acadfest.
11.The Board of Judges for this event will be composed of three (3) individuals coming from different fields of specialization.
